Cisco webex where do I find what I recorded?

Webex stores all your recorded meetings either locally on your computer or on your Webex site. You can access your recordings and share or download them from your Webex site.

So, how do I find my webex recording?

Sign in to your Webex site. Select Recordings from the left navigation bar to see all of your Webex recordings. Depending on file size and bandwidth, it can take up to 24 hours to receive your recording. For Windows: Recordings started from within a meeting are accessible from the Documents folder in My Computer.

When the transcript is available it appears at the side of the recording. Sign in to Webex Site Administration and go to Common Site Settings > Options. Scroll down to Site Options and check the Create recording transcripts for all hosts’ MP4 recordings check box.

This begs the question “How do I get a recording of my meeting?”

You can access your recordings and share or download them at anytime you need. If it’s not your meeting, reach out to the host of your meeting to get the recording. For a meeting associated with a space, a link for the meeting recording automatically appears in the space where the meeting took place.

Can I enable automatic transcription for Cisco WebEx meetings and events?

For WBS39.5 and later, Automatic Recording Transcripts is now available. Webex meetings or events must be recorded in order to transcribe them. You can enable the automatic transcription of the audio for all recorded Cisco Webex meetings and events or you can enable the feature for specific users only.

Can I play a WebEx recording on a mobile device?

Webex recordings currently cannot be played back on mobile devices. You may choose whether you would like the Chat, Q&A, Polls, Participant List, and Transcript to be visible in the Recording. If you enable these features, they may be viewed alongside the Recording by those with who you share the link.
