Sign in to Office 365. In the row of app buttons across the top of the page, select Visio. If you don’t see Visio on the app launcher, select All apps, and then select Visio. To start with a Visio for the web diagram, browse the Gallery to see diagrams and samples, and then select Create.
Visio is part of the Microsoft Office family, but it is not included in the basic Office 365 packages. You have to pay an extra fee to use it regularly, but you can include Visio in your free trial and see if it is useful to you. NOTE: It is no longer possible to try Visio as described below.
The following versions of Visio are supported for connecting to Microsoft 365 (and Office 365) services: Visio desktop app that comes with a Visio Plan 2 subscription Visio LTSC Professional 2021 and Visio LTSC Standard 2021 Visio Professional 2019 and Visio Standard 2019 Visio Professional 2016 and Visio Standard 2016.

What if I don’t have Visio in the office suite?
Visio isn’t included in the Office suite, but is sold as a stand-alone application. If you don’t have Visio you can buy or try it now. Only some versions of Visio include the desktop app. If you have Visio Plan 2 or a non-subscription version such as Visio Professional or Visio Standard 2019, 2016, or 2013 you can install and use the desktop app.
