If you are using Google Drive on your PC, you may have stored lots of images or other files to it already. Do you notice one thing that when you delete one file / files / folder / folders on your Google Drive folder on your computer, it automatically get deleted from the Google Drive web application / services too?
Where are my files stored in Google Drive?
There are three main storage locations within Google Drive: My Drive, Shared drives, and Computers. These locations are shown as tabs in Drive. Folders on your computer that sync with Drive can be found in the “Computers” tab. The Computers tab groups folders by computer, so you might find previously synced computers.
By default, Google Drive for desktop (formerly known as Google Drive File Stream) stores cached files in ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Drive. FS/$account_id/content_cache, where $account_id is the numeric ID of your google account.

How do I use Google Drive for desktop?

Where does Google Store its data?

Where is the location of the Google Photos?
The pic does have a physical location, on a drive somewhere in one of Google’s data centers. But it might be (likely is!) duplicated on more than one drive – and/or in more than one data center. Any of these files may move, at any time. I don’t know *where* the file (or files) are.
