Apple News+ is a subscription service that gives you access to pay-to-read content at a bundled price. You can think of it like Netflix for magazines and newspapers.

Then, what is Apple News and how does it work?
Here is what I found. apple News is an app that aggregates multiple news sources, blogs, breaking stories, video publications, magazines, and newspapers into one feed. Users can follow different outlets and have them appear in the news feed, which is sorted by topic and publisher. The app is also home to News+, Apple’s subscription service for premium news content.
While we were writing we ran into the question “What is Apple Newsstand?”.
In 2011, Apple launched Newsstand, an app that presented magazine and newspaper subscriptions in a skeuomorphic bookshelf. This replaced the many individual apps that publishers had been designing for i, and pad. Apple’s goal was to help users manage all of their subscriptions in one place.

I decided to try out Apple News+ to see if it would feed my need for news and storytelling.
A query we ran across in our research was “How do I Manage my Apple News subscription on my iPad?”.

Where is Apple News in Canada?
Apple News local news coverage is rolling out to Canada, starting with Toronto and Montreal. It follows a recent expansion of the service in the US.
Based on the count above, there are 220 magazines within Apple News+ in Canada, plus the digital subscription to The Toronto Star. Apple Canada’s website also lists The Wall Street Journal as part of “leading newspapers” available.
This of course begs the question “Is the globe and Mail now included in Apple News+?”
The Globe and Mail is now included with News+. ” Apple has yet to update its Canadian website to indicate the addition of The Globe and Mail as one of its “leading newspapers” inside Apple News+, as only the Toronto Star and Wall Street Journal are listed.
