Microsoft’s search engine has gone through a few iterations over the years, starting as MSN search in 1998. It then transitioned through Windows Live Search and Live Search before it was rebranded to Bing. What does Bing do? Just like Google, Bing is a search engine and does pretty much all of the same things.
Does bing keep searches?
As was briefly mentioned above, Bing keeps all the searches you make and stores them in a single location. Bing does this for a number of reasons – the main one is personalizing your experience and serving the search results that are most relevant to you.
Does bing report searches?
If you have a concern about particular URLs or other information contained in search results, you may report these to Bing. Reporting a concern will not necessarily result in removal of a URL from search results.
Can Bing track your search history?
Bing uses cookies, so it can do some tracking even if you are not logged in. However, unless I’m misunderstanding something very fundamental about how browsers work, Bing is unable to track actual clicks in search results at the level that Google does. Here’s what I mean.

Because workplace searches might be sensitive, Microsoft Search has implemented a set of trust measures that describe how the separate search of public results from Bing. Com is handled. Com search logs that pertain to Microsoft Search in Bing traffic are disassociated from your workplace identity.
You could be thinking “Is Bing a safe search engine?”
Our answer is it is second after Google in the category of search engines, and fifth in the list of the total number of searches. Com does not bring any harm to your device.
Do Bing search results suck?

One way to think about this is bing has intelligent search, Google has dumb search. As of 2018, after spending like a month adopting it for my personal drive, I still find that Bing is very underperforming as a search engine compared with Google because many times Bing search results are either less helpful or completely unhelpful.
