Where does adobe rush save files?

Unlike programs like Premiere Pro or Premiere Elements, Rush doesn’t save its projects as individual files on your device’s hard drive. It saves it as part of a database on your system. I don’t believe it’s possible to locate a specific Rush project file on your Mac, even if it is saved locally.

This of course begs the question “Why can’t I download media from Premiere Rush?”

One way to think about this is if you switch away from Premiere Rush while media is downloading, it can fail if Premiere Rush is downloading from Creative Cloud Files. If this scenario occurs, close the project, and reopen it. Always close your project on any device you are using, before you open the project on another device.

Make sure you have project syncing turned on in Premiere Rush. Project Sync is enabled by default. If it’s turned off, the project is not available to open in Premiere Pro. Make sure your Premiere Pro version is Premiere Pro version 13.0 or later (older versions are not compatible).
