When you fulfill an order, you can archive it to remove it from the list of open orders. Archiving lets you keep track of open orders that have not yet been completed, and to make sure that you have an accurate count of open orders in Shopify.
You can archive a single product, or archive multiple products at the same time using a bulk action. If you archive a product, then the product is moved to the Archived tab of the Products page . From your Shopify admin, go to Products > All products.
From your Shopify admin, go to Orders. From the Orders page, click the number of the order that you want to archive. Click More actions, and then click Archive orders.
What is Shopify and how does it work?
It sells as a subscription service, so there’s no need to piece together different web development elements like a domain name, a third-party theme, and hosting. The vast majority of tools you need to run an online store come with your Shopify subscription. Overall, Shopify is a website builder, specifically for online stores.
When you delete a product, it’s permanently removed from Shopify. Deleted products can’t be restored. If you run out of stock or no longer want to display a product for any reason, but don’t want to permanently delete it from your store, then you can archive the product instead.
How do I check inventory in the Shopify App?
From the Shopify app, go to Products > All products. From the Products screen, either create a new product or tap an existing product. Under Inventory, tap the barcode icon to open your device’s camera. The camera’s screen shows a square box with a line across its middle.
There’s a Featured Collection section in Shopify that pulls the products you have in that Homepage collection. All you have to do is customize the settings in the Featured Collection section to ensure the right collection shows up on the page. As you can see, I’ve activated that Homepage collection to see the original product we added from before.
