Does microsoft forms work with excel?

The integration between Microsoft Forms and Excel is very poor. It’s almost as if the Forms and Excel developers haven’t worked together, even though they work for the same company! Just a few things you’d expect from a proper integration of a Microsoft product with Microsoft Excel and Power, and query.

We know about Microsoft Forms, the Office 365 quiz and polls tool. We know this can be easily exported to Excel. However, if you have an existing Excel file, you can use Forms to import directly into your existing Excel file! I find this as a big deal.

Wherein we can utilize the Microsoft forms to search for a particular set of data from an excel document and present it. Loading I don’t believe that’s possible (havent looked in a couple of months). Forms is purely intake, for surveys, etc.

What is forms for Excel and how to use it?

@Ivan Unger, Forms for Excel is the new experience for legacy Excel survey. As @Steven Collier has mentioned, it is just Microsoft Forms, but when you create the form, it connects to an Excel workbook on your One. Drive for Business / Share. Point Online by default.

One article stated that you can easily view all of the response data for your form in Microsoft Excel. Select Open in Excel on the Responses tab to capture a snapshot of your current response data in a workbook.
