, and sadly no. Xero is clearly designed for accountants NOT business people – and certainly not manufacturing companies. We have to create an invoice then turn it into a “Packing List” to use as a delivery note, once we’ve printed it to go with the shipment, we turn it back into an invoice to send to the customer.
We are new Xero-ers and I’m amazed that this functionality ( Delivery Note) is not a quick adn simple process. Given that businesses like Foodstuffs are moving to SAP and they demand a paper delivery note with every delivery it is a real hassle to have to waste time with clunky workarounds .
One question we ran across in our research was “How do I create a packing slip and invoice in Xero?”.
There’s two ways to make the most of this feature. Create one branding theme that includes both an Invoice, and a delivery note, or have one branding theme for your Invoice, and another for the delivery note. Head to this Xero Central page, and Download the Packing slip and invoice template.
Another frequently asked query is “How often do you send out orders and invoice in Xero?”.
We send out orders daily and invoice weekly. We would like to generate packing slips in Xero that are then consolidated for the week into one invoice.
What do you struggle with with Xero payments?
We struggle with payments if clients’ payment office don’t get a POD (proof of delivery ), in the form of a signed delivery note, that match a said invoice. Merging this here Heidi. Check out the Official Xero Reply which talks about using a Docx branding theme for delivery notes, if you haven’t seen it already.
We Easily reconcile Square sales and payments in Xero. Add Square as a Xero payment service and enable your Xero invoices to be paid via Square. Sign up for a Square account and a Xero account (if you haven’t already).
Sign in to your Square account and click allow to grant all relevant permissions. Authenticate your Xero account by clicking the Connect new account button. Choose the Xero organisation you want to connect, then click Allow access. Click Save + Continue to accept Amaka’s terms and conditions.

This of course begs the query “Does xerox own lexmark?”
I learned xerox Holdings Corporation signed Lexmark as the first original equipment manufacturer client for Xerox Financial Services (XFS), a new global payments solutions business. XFS, which finances both Xerox and third-party workplace technology needs, will provide financing for selected Lexmark Managed Print Services (MPS) engagements.
Is the Xerox trademark still protected?
Xerox Corporation continues to protect its trademark in most if not all trademark categories. Despite their efforts, many dictionaries continue to include the use of “xerox” as a verb, including the Oxford English Dictionary.
It was reported in April 2016 that Lexmark would be acquired by Apex Technology and PAG Asia Capital for US$3.6 billion. Lexmark was set to be acquired at $40.50 per share in the transaction.

Yes, Square + Xero integration is currently available for Xero customers in Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and United States. How much does the Square + Xero integration cost? The integration has been built in partnership with Square and Xero and it is 100% free of charge.
One more question we ran across in our research was “How does the square and Xero integration work?”.
And when the payment hits your bank account, it appears in your bank feed and is simultaneously recorded in Xero. The new integration creates a daily sales-summary invoice in Xero that captures the previous day’s transactions in Square. You can choose to break down the imported data to transaction level.
One of the next things we wanted the answer to was what is the Amaka Xero and square integration?
Amaka has built the integration on behalf of Xero and Square and will be providing support to existing customers. Amaka is a professional software provider for accountants, bookkeepers and business owners with the need to automate their data entry.
