Let us figure it out. if you currently have photos in Google Photos, they’ll still be shown in the Google Drive folder in the future. However, any new photos uploaded to Google Photos won’t appear in Google Drive, and any new photos uploaded to Google Drive won’t appear in Google Photos.
Your photos and videos are stored using your Google Account’s storage space. Items copied from Google Drive to Google Photos are backed up based on your upload size. If you copy an item from Google Drive to Google Photos, the new copy in Google Photos will also count against your storage.
