As of right now, Google does not offer 1-800 numbers when you select a number in Google Voice. This could change in the near future, but as of now it’s only local area code based numbers.
At this time, Google Voice does not offer toll-free numbers. The only way to get a toll free number for your Google Voice account is via a third-party phone company like Uni, and tel voice. Once your Uni. Tel Voice account is set up you enter your Google Voice number as your forwarding number.
Select your area code or city for your phone number. Google Voice won’t allow you to set up a 1-800 number, so apologies if that’s your business plan. You don’t need to select an area code near where you live if you don’t want people to your general location. Once you have the number you want, press Select.
