Bing is Microsoft’s search engine. The company developed and updated Bing with Internet Explorer and Edge in mind. So, if you want to enjoy the best possible browsing experience on Edge, you should set Bing as your default search engine.

Bing is like Google search and edge is like chrome. Different thing, but if you installed Microsoft arrow launcher, there’s no need for bing cos it’s already there. That’s what I thought. Though the Bing app still supports tabs, for a quick search use Bing/Google, for a big search with loads of tabs use Edge/Chrome.

Lots of people are reporting that Microsoft Edge is now hounding them to use “Microsoft recommended browser settings,” which sets the default search engine to Bing. Not only that, but Edge doesn’t seem to get the hint when the user tells them “no.”.
So, if you want to enjoy the best possible browsing experience on Edge, you should set Bing as your default search engine. Speaking of Bing, there’s an annoying behavior that got many users confused.
If Bing took over your browser, this is the result of malicious code sneaking into your computer or adware/ PUP infection. Bing is a legitimate search engine. Unfortunately, Microsoft’s search engine is often used by browser-hijackers and potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) as a means to serve unwanted ads or direct traffic to certain websites.

Microsoft Edge runs on the same Chromium web engine as Google’s Chrome browser, offering you best in class web compatibility and performance. New experiences to Microsoft Search in Bing to save you time searching for information inside your company.
This begs the question “Is Microsoft Edge a good browser to use?”
Not to mention, Edge is actually a decent browser when it comes to speed. And, you cannot ignore that gorgeous Fluent Design System. However, please do keep in mind that I use Google as my default search engine on Edge and use Cortana’s Bing search only for first two point that I discussed.
Is there a Bing search bar that supports tabs?

Though in Microsoft Launcher I tried replacing the Edge search bar with the Bing one, but when I remove the Edge search bar, the apps move and make no room for a new search bar., and any suggestions?
