CS6 runs fine on Windows 10. PS 6 is very old and may not be able to handle the large size disk we user these days. If you tried windows 10 make older apps or programs compatible and could not get it to work. Try creating small Disk Partitions and install PS 6 in one see if it will run.

A quick Google search indicates that you may have issues running CS3 in Windows 8 or 10. Something to do with the way it interacts with the GPU. Maybe you can set up a VM and run it there.

Windows 8 doesn’t solve the problem. Microsoft is after the Windows 8 users also, and I cannot reload the CS3 cannot find the CD after 10 years.
It survived computers and various OS. It does what I need and especially I don’t have to pay any Cloud fees to Adobe that I am totally displeased about. (never updated the CS3 through Adobe and they could not interfere with my software).
