Rubric marking has arrived on Google Classroom, offering success criteria and feedback for learners, and a quick and efficient marking process for teachers. What is a rubric? A rubric within Google Classroom is a type of grading form which consists of a set of criteria, each have several descriptive levels, with a numerical grade assigned to it.
(Optional) To see or hide individual criteria, click the Down arrow or Up arrow. You can grade a rubric from the Student work page or the grading tool. For instructions, go to Grade with a rubric. To share a Classroom rubric with a teacher outside your class, you first need to export it to Google Sheets.
A common inquiry we ran across in our research was “What is an rubric and how do I use it?”.
Rubrics are intended to assess performance and to assign a grade. Ultimately that’s what our students and the system wants to see: the number. However, while I do provide that, I’m far more interested in using the feedback on the rubric to help my students improve their skills.

And, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: if you can make effective use of rubrics, and you can use them to “feed forward,” you will have fewer classroom management issues.

What is a jamboard in google classroom?
Google Jamboard is a digital whiteboard found inside Google Workspace. The digital white paper is similar to a traditional whiteboard, which means you can write or draw using a pen as well as erase. The app also allows you to add images, place sticky notes, highlight text, and so much more.
But students can always open a Google Doc and use voice typing out of the Tools menu. Copy and paste the text into Jamboard. Make jams available to students. Grab a share link to any jam you use to teach students. Put that link somewhere in Google Classroom or a class website so students can access it later.
Jamboards are a great compliment to math instruction as well. If students are learning about data, you can take a class survey. Convert that survey into a chart. Have students insert their own Google images to show their answers, or build their chart simultaneously in a small group.
Another frequently asked inquiry is “How do I share a Jamboard page with other students?”.
Our best answer was have one student create a jam and share it with fellow students. Use the “everyone with the link can edit” sharing setting. Students can then take notes in the same document. Control D to duplicate. For many items on Jamboard, you can choose duplicate out of a menu.
