Webex generally saves your recordings to the Documents folder in My Computer. But when you choose to record locally, Webex also asks you to choose the folder where you want to store it each time. You can choose any folder on your computer. So if you do decide to change the location from the default folder, you’ll find your recording in that folder instead.
This of course begs the question “Are webex recorded?”

Where can I Find my recorded WebEx meetings?
Webex stores all your recorded meetings either locally on your computer or on your Webex site. You can find your recordings and share or download them from your Webex site.
For Windows: Recordings started from within a meeting are accessible from the Documents folder in My Computer. For Mac: Recordings started from within a meeting are accessible from the Home folder using Finder. These are the default paths for your local recordings, but you can also select a different path to save the recordings.
This is what my research found. recording transcripts are currently not available in the Webex free plan. If you start a meeting by phone, you can’t record it. If you’re a cohost, you can’t start recording a meeting if the host is in the meeting.
How do I get a recording of my meeting?
You can access your recordings and share or download them at anytime you need. If it’s not your meeting, reach out to the host of your meeting to get the recording. For a meeting associated with a space, a link for the meeting recording automatically appears in the space where the meeting took place.
Do I need a player for my WebEx?
There’s no player required. Or if you’ve downloaded a file, get the Webex Player below (file types are .ARF or .. WRF) for your operating system. Sharing is easy. You can post a link anywhere and your visitors can view the Webex. Want to edit? Download the file and convert it to .. WMV and edit like any video.
How do I play a WRF file in Webex?
Locate the .wrf recording that you want to play, then click Open. In the Webex Player, make sure that a file is open. The Settings option is available only while you have a file open. Check the Hide the Player Console during playback check box, and click OK .
